Titanium Dioxide Fertilizers |
Different fertilizers are often combined to produce multi-nutrient fertilizers. As most multi-nutrient fertilizers contain Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K), the three nutrients needed in largest quantities by plants, they are often called NPK fertilizers. There are different methods used in combining fertilizers. One common way is bulk blending in which all materials are mixed together in a dry state. There is no binding between raw material particles. There are also different methods of granulation where materials are physically bound together. On close examination, it can be seen that each granule is made up of different raw materials stuck together and cannot be easily separated. In the “Chemical Compound” fertilizers, liquid and/or finely ground raw materials are mixed together in a slurry and then dried. Every granule is identical and contains all of the nutrients; the individual raw materials are no longer visible.
